Hello everyone, this week's recipe is the Malaysian favourite Ayam Masak Merah.
Ingredients:
Chicken pieces - 4
Yellow Onion - 1
Red Onion(small) - 2
Garlic - 3 cloves
Tumeric powder - 2 tablespoon
Tomato ketchup - 2 tablespoon
Chilli paste - 2 tablespoon
Cinnamon stick - 1
Coconut milk - 100 ml
To blend:
Garlic - 4 cloves
Ginger - 2cm
Yellow Onion - 1 medium sized
Red onion (small) - 2
1. Blend the ingredients above into a paste
2. Marinade chicken pieces with salt, pepper and turmeric powder
3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and brown the chicken for 3 minutes on each side on medium heat.
4. Remove the chicken pieces and add sliced yellow and red onion, garlic and cinnamon stick. Sautee until fragrant.
5. Add the blended ingredients and sautee for 2-3 minutes
6. Add chilli paste and tomato ketchup and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
7. Add coconut milk and the chicken pieces. Continue cooking for 10 more minutes until the chicken pieces are cooked through.

Berikut merupakan resipi ayam masak merah yang mudah dan cepat.
Bahan- bahan
Ketulan ayam - 4
Serbuk kunyit - 2 sudu besar
Sos tomato - 2 sudu besar
Cili giling - 2 sudu besar
Kulit kayu manis - 1
Santan - 100 ml
Bahan Tumis (semua dihiris nipis):
Bawang besar - 1
Bawang merah(kecil) - 2
Bawang putih - 3
Bahan kisar:
Bawang putih - 4 ulas
Halia hidup - 2cm
Bawang besar - 1
Bawang merah kecil - 2
1. Kisarkan bahan kisar di atas sehingga menjadi pes
2. Salutkan ketulan ayam dengan serbuk kunyit, garam dan lada hitam
3. Panaskan kuali bersama minyak dan masukkan ayam. Goreng sehingga garing.
4. Setelah garing, alihkan ayam daripada kuali dan masukkan bahan tumis serta kulit kayu manis. Tumis sehingga naik bau.
5. Masukkan pes dan masak selama 2-3 minit.
6. Masukkan cili giling dan sos tomato. Gaul rata dan masak sehingga pecah minyak
7. Masukkan santan dan teruskan masak selama 5 minit.
8. Masukkan ayam yang telah digoreng dan gaul rata.
